Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 31st August 2025

1. Who we are

We are Coeur Caché, a brand of Delavalle Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number: 12399708). Contact us at: info@coeurcache.com.

2. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to:

  • Purchases and orders made online through our website www.coeurcache.com; and
  • Purchases made in person at exhibitions, events or fairs where Coeur Caché is exhibiting (the “Exhibition”); and
  • Browsing our website and using any services provided on it.

3. Formation of the Contract

  • Online sales: An order is an offer to buy. We accept the order when we send you an order confirmation by email. If we cannot accept your order we will notify you and refund any payment.
  • In-person sales: A contract is formed when you pay the stated price and receive a receipt or order confirmation at the Exhibition (or we accept your order if you place an order to be fulfilled later).
  • If you place an order from outside the UK, additional terms (customs, duties) may apply.

4. Price & Payment

5. Delivery, Collection & Risk

  • Online purchases: We will deliver to the address you give; risk passes to you when the goods are delivered. Estimated delivery times are given at checkout; we will notify you if there is any delay.
  • In-person purchases: If you buy and take the item away at the Exhibition, risk passes to you immediately on collection. For items we agree to hold and deliver later, risk passes when you collect or when the goods are delivered.

6. Title (ownership)

Ownership of goods passes to you only once we have received full payment of all sums due for that order (including delivery).

7. Cancellation & Returns (Distance & Off-premises contracts)

  • Distance contracts (online / where the contract is concluded away from our premises): You generally have a right to cancel within 14 days from the day after receipt of the goods. This does not apply to bespoke or personalised items that are made to the consumer’s specification. (Statutory minimum under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.) Legislation.gov.uk
  • In-person purchases at the Exhibition: If you buy and take the item away at the stall, the statutory 14-day cooling-off does not apply — the sale is treated as an on-the-spot sale unless we expressly offer a return period. For any faulty items you still have consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act. Legislation.gov.uk
  • How to return: To cancel, email us at info@coeurcache.com with order number and reason. You must return the item within 14 days (unless otherwise agreed). You are responsible for the cost of returning the item unless the item is faulty. We will refund using the same payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
  • Exclusions: Made-to-order, engraved or personalised jewellery cannot be cancelled under the 14-day cooling-off right once production has begun or has been completed (statutory exception). Goods returned in damaged condition because of misuse may not be eligible for refund.

8. Faulty goods & your legal rights

All goods sold must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item you buy from us is faulty, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (Legislation.gov.uk). If you notify us of a fault within 30 days of delivery/collection you may reject the goods for a full refund. If you notify us after 30 days you may request a repair or replacement; if a repair or replacement is not possible or fails, you may be entitled to a partial or full refund. Please keep your receipt and provide photos where possible. This policy is without prejudice to your statutory rights. We will provide returns instructions and handle the matter promptly.

9. Liability

  • We accept liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence and for any other matter that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
  • Subject to the above, our liability to you for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this contract is limited to the price paid for the goods in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits), except to the extent the law does not permit exclusion.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and stall (designs, images, text) is owned by Delavalle Ltd or used with permission. You may not reproduce our images or copy our designs without our written permission.

11. Data protection & privacy

We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law. Our full Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, how long we retain it, and your rights; it can be found at https://coeurcache.com/privacy-policy/. The ICO provides guidance and a privacy-notice generator for small businesses. (https://ico.org.uk/create-your-own-privacy-notice)

12. Cookies & website browsing

We use cookies to improve your experience. Our Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use and how to control them. The Electronic Commerce Regulations require certain trader information to be made available when contracts are concluded electronically; we provide this on our website. Legislation.gov.uk

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint, email info@coeurcache.com. We will aim to acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and respond with our proposed resolution within 10 working days.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts (unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland — in which case local courts may have jurisdiction).

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The latest version will be published on our website at https://coeurcache.com/terms-and-condition and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
